Stuff You Might Wanna Look At Once or Twice

photoautomat
I found a new fun app for my phone: PhotoAutomat. The kids loved it. Asa loved it so much he fell out of the last picture. It’s a good time, I tell ya!

Now, ready for some fun links? I actually haven’t read much this week, my Google Reader is overflowing. I think maybe I should hit Mark All As Read. *sigh* But here’s some stuff that did catch my eye and heart…

7 Days of Hope hosted by the MOB Society and the MOD Squad This is a series/bloggy event/community based on the ebook, Hope for the Weary Mom. It begins Tuesday, June 12!

Cat’s Cradle Lesson from Blue Corduroy Sewing The  other day at church, some older elementary kids brought string into our class and were making string creations (you know, the Eiffel Tower, Witches Hat, etc.) and none of them knew how to play Cat’s Cradle. I was shocked. I think this is something every kid should know!

My Inner Voice Can Be a Real Jerk by Mary Carver from Giving Up on Perfect is a fabulous post about what we allow ourselves to think and dwell on. Then last night, after my husband and I finally watched the Awake finale and I was googling Awake, one of my very own posts popped up on the front page of Google, which also happened to be about how our thoughts can control us! Something I have to work on daily.

My Kid Food Pinterest Board. I’ve been adding a lot to it lately (since our whole healthy food exercise thing going on in our house) and there’s some great ideas on there!

And a few Father’s Day fun ideas…

Father’s Day Fun Pack from What’s In the Bible includes cool printables and a $5 coupon!

Father’s Day Printables  from 1+1+1=1 Super easy and adorable FREE Father’s Day gift!

Avodah Coffee: this is what I’m getting my dad and brother! It’s a new super-cool (and apparently very yummy) venture from the fabulous Jessica at Muthering Heights.

Paper Coterie’s Father’s Day Books are 60% off! I adore Paper Coterie and these are so cute!

Happy weekend!

Thanks Amanda…for sharing my Father’s Day Printables ;-) I am glad you liked them!

Those photos are so much fun! I have some Avodah coffee on the way too! :)

Thanks for sharing the 7 Days of Hope link. I only knew about it because of your post, and I signed up for it last night. I know the feeling of marking things as read or archiving unread emails in the hopes of getting to them one day when free time is unlimited! Grateful for the ones you posted.

Thanks, Lauren! I love all the people at the MOD and the MOB blogs. They love Jesus! ;)
