I've tried the reaction in example #1 with my 3 year old and anytime I say "we're not going then" it gets worse, she flips out and throws a tantrum it's never that easy for me to where she just asks "WHY" or changes her behavior right away, maybe I'm not doing it right? Wanted to be able to do this with you but I’m still waiting for the book to become available at the library.
