I’m 32. I’m a sahm. I have a 4 year old, Lydia and a one year old, Asa. In my former life I was a Children’s Pastor overseeing, organizing and developing ministry for kids in nursery through middle school. Growing up I was involved with puppet and drama teams, creative arts and always thought I had no other skill set except to work with kids! I’ve always been involved with ministry and education to children. It was always for other children, but now that I’m a mom, my “skills” are used up on MY kids!

I am also a member of the 2010 Disney World Mom’s Panel! I am not a Disney employee. The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent Disney’s positions or opinions.

I’m a Christian.  I love my Hubby.  I am incredibly blessed to be able to stay at home with my two boys – Elias, who’s 4 years old, and Donovan, who is 2 years old.   I want to homeschool my boys when the time comes – and that time is quickly approaching!  I also love to craft, cook, eat, sleep, and read – which one I like to do best depends on the day.  I’m obsessed with sewing, knitting, crocheting, paper cutting, wardrobe refashioning, and chocolate.  I’m an ex-opera singer and a closet musical theater junkie, and apparently, I think I can dance…

I’m Vanessa and I have a three-year-old daughter named Juliet. Before staying home with my daughter, I was a high school English teacher (don’t worry, I won’t correct your grammar!) and also a writer/editor for a textbook publishing company. I love books and fortunately for me, my daughter shares this passion. We like to read stories, do crafts, and play outside as much as possible.
